Green Lake
Green Lake is a small, tranquil alpine lake near Upper Pisang Village. It is also called "Mringkyo" in the local language, which is located at approximately 3250-3650 m. The trail to Green Lake features suspension bridges and offers breathtaking views of Annapurna II and Annapurna IV along with an array of unique flora and fauna. The color of the lake is emerald green, varying with sunlight and glaciers. The lake is surrounded by alpine meadows and snow-capped peaks, which offer the best photography opportunities with the reflection of Annapurna in calm water. Visiting Green Lake is a remarkable experience that highlights the natural beauty of Nepal. Best Season: Spring: (March-May) for blooming flowers. Autumn: (September-November) for clear sky.
